Thanks to modern anesthetic creams, the treatment is very low-pain. Most clients describe the sensation as light scratching or vibration. The lip area is slightly more sensitive than the eyebrows, but here too we ensure maximum comfort.
Depending on technique and skin type, results last between 1.5 and 4 years. Eyeliner often lasts longest (2-4 years), eyebrows about 1.5-2.5 years and lips 2-3 years. Regular refresh maintains color intensity.
Microblading is a manual technique where fine hairs are etched – ideal for maximum naturalness. Powder Brows are created with a machine using a shading technique and produce a soft powder effect. Powder Brows are better suited for oily skin and often last slightly longer.
Skin absorbs pigments differently – after the first treatment, often only 50-70% of the color remains. The touch-up (included in the price!) perfects shape and color intensity and significantly extends longevity.
PMU is not suitable for: pregnancy/breastfeeding, blood clotting disorders, acute infections, uncontrolled diabetes, keloid tendency and acute skin conditions in the treatment area. For herpes tendency (lips), prophylaxis is required.
24 hours before: No alcohol. 12 hours before: No caffeine (coffee, cola). On treatment day: No blood-thinning medications (aspirin, ibuprofen). For eyeliner: Remove eyelash extensions at least 48 hours beforehand.
Yes, Olga Keller specializes in cover-ups and corrections of faded or discolored PMU from other studios. Powder Brows are particularly well suited to cover old pigmentations. Please send us a photo in advance for assessment.
